Jamie Legon began his career in the entertainment business producing concerts in South America, where he helped introduce to Colombia, Venezuela and Brazil such musical giants as James Brown, Santana, and Stevie Wonder. Soon thereafter, he began working in film production as an Assistant Director and Producer, where he produced for many directors, among them David Fincher. As the owner of Electric Media, Inc. he produced and directed programs of all types, including TV commercial spots, documentaries, health and fitness programs, and other special interest material.

Jamie has produced and directed for European clients such as RENAULT, PEUGEOT, and ELF GAS, and United States-based clients such as UNITED AIRLINES, FORD, FABERGE, FRITO-LAY, SONY, SHARP ELECTRONICS, TOYOTA and many others. He was Associate Producer of two shows nominated for Cable ACE Awards: Let The Good Times Roll, a critically acclaimed feature documentary about the New Orleans Jazz Festival, and Wynton Marsalis-Tribute to Louis Armstrong.

In 1993, Jamie was ranked as the #1 Motion Picture Production Analyst (MPPA) by the California Film Commission and soon thereafter directed several #1 Billboard Magazine Health and Fitness videos for Kathy Smith. He was signed with the literary agency Amsel, Eisenstadt & Frazier as a screenwriter and recently published a book about his experiences in elder care called Feet First-Riding the Elder Care Rollercoaster with My Father.
